If you haven’t tried it yet, this could be the perfect time to try out using Quinoa Penne as a “pasta alternative”. It’s still a carb and has the traditional rice, but is supplemented with quinoa which gives it a slightly different more fuller flavor. Of course you can make this recipe using any of your favourite pastas and it still works. Just remember that “fresh” pasta from a supermarket often contains egg, so be sure to read the label!
