    The recipe for Butternut squash and chickpea pot pie takes you to a recipe with chicken and bacon in it !!

      Hi Gillian,

      Next to the few non vegan ingredients, it should have what you substitute it for. For example :

      1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs (vegan: 1 15 oz can of chickpeas, drained)

      Hence the title of chickpea pie! 🙂 Hope this helps.
